Seeking an ExceptionaL Therapist for Direct Practice

Flourish has a rare full-time opening for a gifted master-level therapist to serve our wonderful clients in Spring Arbor, Michigan. The ideal applicant has previous experience as a mental health therapist and possess an LMSW, LPC, LP, LMFT, or Psy.D.

However, Flourish is also excited to offer a unique 2-3-year opportunity for recent MSW graduates to become an exceptional therapist while earning a great wage and becoming a fully licensed social worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan.

Whether already fully licensed or at the LLMSW level, this position includes:

  • Very competitive wage at the higher end of industry standard, ranging from $48-$85 per/hour.

  • Immediate caseload of 20-35 weekly clients available due to our long wait list.

  • Open door flexibility to get questions answered by licensed professionals as needed.

  • Annual CEU reimbursement of $200 annually.

  • Pay is assessed biannually.

  • Raises are offered for additional certifications.

  • Work in an aesthetically beautiful space, including a fully furnished office that is private at the full-time level, or shared at the part-time level.

  • Billing and receptionist services are provided at no additional charge.

  • **For applicants with an LLMSW, this opportunity further includes weekly licensed supervision free of charge, all the way through earning the required number of hours to earn your LMSW as required by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).

Requirements

  • Professional of Master of Social Work degree by a CSWE accredited institution.

  • LLMSW, LMSW, LPC, LP, LMFT, or Psy.D, licensures by the State of Michigan.

  • Ability to work at our location in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

  • Ability to invest an estimated 20-40 hours per/week (depends on agreed number of clients taken).

  • Willingness to serve those most in need.

  • Wholehearted agreement with the passion, purpose, and goals of Flourish—as described on the website and in our foundational documents that are available upon a scheduled interview.

  • Willingness to learn, be teachable, changeable and accept constructive feedback.

  • Understanding one will be a sub-contracted member, not a regular employee of Flourish.
